Early appearances of the Shield and the Wizard. Origin of the Shield retold. 2nd appearance of Roy the Super Boy (first side-kick in comics even before Robin).
Irv Novick cover and art.
CONDITION: Apparent VF/VF- with professional restoration that includes small color touch on the spine, a few spot repairs (corner spine and RHS upper corner had small (1/4) work to cover the bindery tears there).
Centerfold is detached. There was a tiny insect burrrow (1/5”) on the very top RHS corner which was patched and colored (it is just right of the Y in the word Extraordinary at the top).
Also, there is light touch up (but no repair work) on the upper staple front cover.
The lower staple has a vertical tear, but the staple is still otherwise well attached.
Centerfold is also cleanly loose.
Page quality is off-white.
It sounds like a lot, but all the work is very small in size and not overly noticeable.
This book has great natural color and no creasing on the cover,
an Apparent VF- with small restoration on the corner/edges.
