This is a 1 quart kit of IES25 Silicone molding compound Silicone moldmaking materials are used extensively to create molds that will produce exact replicas of lifecastings and other objects used in special effects, taxidermy, and craft making. Unlike some silicone's IES25 is not inhibited (restrained or prevented from setting up) by latex or sulfur based products like oil based clay. Our silicone moldmaking compounds consist of two components. A liquid base and a catalyst or curing compound. Some of the materials you can cast into a silicone mold are:
TYPICAL PROPERTIES 10/1 ratio by weight Base Color: white Specific Gravity: 1.12 Viscosity (cPs) : 65,000 Catalyst Color: Purple Specific Gravity: 0.98 Viscosity (cPs): 100 Mixed Viscosity 28000 Pot Life (pour time) 60-90 min. After cure (6 hours @ 25°C) Tensile, psi: 450 Elongation, % 375 Durometer, Shore A 25 Tear (die B) 60 Linear shrinkage;%: 0.3-0.4 Specific Gravity: 1.17 In a hurry? speeds up the curing process and the pot life to 15 min. This means
your mold will be completely cured within 2hrs or less depending on the
