Silver & 18k Gold Pierre Hugo Fountain Pen Driftwood

Here is another one of the Pierre Hugo "Bois d'Epave" fountain pens. I bought the pens at an estate auction some time ago. Part of the info that was told at the sale was the pens are the prototype fountain pens for the Pierre Hugo line of pens. In research, I found the French company Chridel were selling Pierre Hugo pens. Now, the website is Pierre Hugo's website phugo.wtpromotions.com/index.htm The old Chridel website had the fountain pens running in excess of $1500.
I also found a tiny bit of info that the pens were sold by Bergdorf Goodman
This pen is silver body with the 18k solid gold nib. It can be fitted with either a disposable cartridge or a permanent refillable cartridge. This pen has the refillable cartridge. The size of the pen is 5 1/2" with the cap on. The inside diameter of the cap is 7/16" in diameter. This is a very heavy pen with a total weight of 46.3 grams. The clip has a very small hallmark which I can not make out. Because these are the prototype pens, they do not have the fitted boxes the normal pens have. This is the flattop model with I believe solid palladium ends. It is in perfect condition. The total production of ballpoint and fountain pens together is set at 100 pens for each model.
