The Casey Jones was used by the Silverton Northern for many things. It was a passenger service for the miners into Silverton, it was an ambulance, it was also used to tour the line by management as well as MOW foremen checking for problems.

Like the RGS rail busses, this one was also saved and now resides in the town of Silverton, CO, preserved for everyone’s enjoyment though over the years many less than prototypical paint schemes have adorned it, the one shown in this book appear to be the closest match.

The photos include both exterior and interior shots to give enough detail for modelers or historians both to enjoy it.

The book is formatted with full color heavy weight paper covers and a spiral binding for the enjoyment of modelers and historians as well as railfans.
