Payment: I accept Paypal, money orders (postal preferred) and cashier’s checks. I will no longer accept personal checks. Contact or payment must be made by winning bidder within 5 days of close of auction or unpaid bidder action will be taken.

Shipping: Winner to pay $1.50 shipping and handling for this item. Items paid by Paypal or via mail will be shipped on the Saturday after receipt. Items paid after 11 a.m. on Saturday will be posted on the following Saturday mail. Special arrangements can be made for shipping during the week, if necessary, but may incur an additional charge (please e-mail me before payment if requesting this). I am not responsible for loss or damage by the Postal Service if item is not insured.

International Winners: International customers must pay via Paypal, no exceptions. Shipping charges will be the actual shipping charge plus $2 handling. Winner is responsible for any or all Customs charges. I can track items only while they are in the U.S.- once an item has left the country, I am not responsible for loss due to issues in foreign postal systems. In essence, once the item has been proven to have left the U.S. and is under the jurisdiction of a foreign postal service and lost or damaged, there is no refund policy.

Insurance: Insurance is optional on all items under $50 (a $1.50 additional charge) and required on all items over $50 or items requiring special handling such as fragile items weighing over 2 lbs. Items ending over $50 will be charged insurance in the amount of the bid. I am not responsible for loss or damage by the Postal Service if item is not insured.

Combined shipping policy: I will combine shipping at $1 per item or $2 per pound, whichever is applicable. If all non-fragile items can fit in a flat rate Priority Mail box (I can normally fit about 2-4 pairs of jeans or 6 other clothing items in a box), the rate will be $9.25. Special combination rates apply to items that weigh under 1 pound combined (e.g. sewing patterns)- please contact me prior to payment in these circumstances.

Return policy: All items sold as-is. I do not accept returns unless there is a gross misrepresentation or omission in the listing (measurements are off, colors are not correct, wear is considerably more than expected). In this event, buyer must contact me within 5 days of receipt of item to rectify the situation. Refunds will be issued when item is received and verified as incorrect. I will not return and refund for buyer’s remorse. I do not refund return shipping. International bidders need to contact me immediately if there is a problem.

Feedback: I will leave feedback after feedback is left for me. This way, if there is a problem with the item, things can be worked out before feedback comes into play.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We live close to a hurricane strike zone. During the months of June through November we are subject to weather ranging from tropical storms to actual hurricanes. Although we are 70 miles away from both the Gulf and Atlantic coasts, there still exists a real possibility of hurricane damage in our area. I am including this warning as it may cause serious delays in shipping if a major storm were to pass this way, and potential loss of item if we were to be hit with a hurricane of category 4 or above (think Katrina scale). I will attempt to notify potential buyers in the event that we may be subject to this type of weather and reserve the right to end auctions early if it appears we may be dealing with more than usual severe weather (i.e. a hurricane category 2 or above is definitely coming our way). I will likely not be able to communicate after a major storm for at least a week (in 2004 we were without power for 3 days after Hurricane Frances and a week after Hurricane Jean). Please be patient and if you get an offer from me to end the auction early due to these circumstances, please do not be surprised. In that event I will ship the item immediately upon payment, likely Priority, in order for it to beat the storm and get to you safely.
