Machine was just serviced and is expected for a machine of it's age! Sorry, I don't know the manufacturer date.

Machine is in good working condition - sturdy metal machine - with only some minor cosmetic defects - such as a little scratching on the needle plate. The best way to view the condition of the machine is to take a look at the many detailed images I've included of the actual machine.

For the packing I must purchase (such as packing foam), I buy in bulk from a large wholesale supplier locally and always pass the savings onto my customers. Refused Deliveries:
If a package is refused, the customer will be responsible for all shipping and refusal fees as well as a 10% restocking fee. This excludes refused deliveries due to damage and only applies to those with buyer’s remorse.

Seller ships via FedEx for International package. Please email the seller with your shipping details to get an accurate shipping quote. (Please note: I do know that FedEx charges higher customs fees than USPS - but due to new USPS policies that effect the shipper, I do not ship via USPS.)

Packing of Machines...

All machines shipped that do not come in their original box with a value of over $250 USD are packed in expanding foam to keep the shipping gremlins at bay. This is an expensive way to pack machines, but is Sssoooo worth it & it keeps them protected from damage!

The New Box:

Weight tested boxes used to insure the box can handle the weight of the machine. Some high value machines are double boxed to insure safe travel.

 The Foam Before Expansion:

Instapak Quick packing foam is used to package the machine. Two - three packages are used on the base of box depending on the weight and needs of the machine. Some low priced machines will not be packaged with foam - the shipping charge alone would be more than the value of the machine.

 The Bubble Wrapped Box:

Bubble wrap is used on the bottom, sides and top of the box to provide a soft cushiony ride for the machine and to prevent damage. The Instapak Quick foam (as needed) is then placed between the machine and the bubble wrap. Bubble wrap is also used to secure and protect other accessories that my be included with the machine.

The machine and foam, after expansion:

The machine is completely surrounded with the foam and bubble wrap to insure a safe trip! 

The Securely Packaged Box:

More bubble wrap and/or Instapak Quick foam is then used to protect the top of the machine. Sometimes, Instapak Quick foam is also used on the top of the box, but again is used as needed to insure the machine is packaged properly!

The Packed Box:

Lastly, the machine is taped closed and fragile stickers are placed on the box.
