The transmitter works well with Canon D series, Canon Rebel, Nikon D70, D100, Fuji, Sony, Sigma, etc.

The receiver works well with Britek, Bowens, Alien Bees, Elinchrom and Courtenay flash, etc.  Not compatible with H-prong receptacle in connection.

IMPORTANT:   Please use non-rechargeable alkaline batteries otherwise malfunction occurs.

1. The receiver has a standard 1/4"(6mm) phone jack plug  for studio mono-lights with 1/4" jack-plug socket connector and other studio flashes of the same type. This is the most common connection for studio strobes.  ________________________________________________________

2. The receiver also comes with one 1/8" (3.5mm) PC sync plug converter which is designed for use with studio flash that use this type of connection such as Britek HS-2000.   See photo >>

 3. The receiver has a female PC sync socket and you may use the 12-inch sync cord (included in the slave kit) to connect the receiver with a hot shoe flash that has a PC sync socket such as Vivitar .  See photo >>

This PC sync cord is technically called "PC male and 3.5mm mini-phone". 

The above photo shows the PC male is connected with the receiver and the mini-phone with a flash. This PC sync cord can also be used for a camera that does not have a hot shoe for a transmitter but has a PC sync socket on camera.

EXCEPTIONS: Nikon SB series flashes: SB-23, SB-24, SB-28, SB-600, SB-800, etc., some do not have a PC sync  socket and some do have one but the 12" PC sync cord included in the radio slave kit  does not work (though the size may fit) with the flash's PC socket. They need a hot shoe adapter. 

Same is with Canon EX series flashes: 550EX, 580EX and 580 EXII whose PC sync socket does not accept mini-phone plug.

For hot shoe flashes that do not have a PC sync socket such as Canon 420EX, a hot shoe adapter is needed for the connection.

One transmitter can trigger many receivers so long as they are within effective slave range.

    Digital Radio Slave Trigger

    The digitally encoded radio signal is extremely reliable, unlike the common analog radio signal which is apt to radio interference such as cellular phones, pagers and cordless microphones which are often the case in a wedding party.

    The encoded radio signal assures interference-free reception. It works indoors and outdoors, around corners and through walls. With this transmitter mounted on your camera, when you release the shutter, the signal is sent and the receiver receives/decodes the signal and triggers a remote flash/strobe/power pack to which it is attached, even if it is in the next room! 

    As the transmitter's output power is so low at less than 2 mW, this radio slave will not cause interference to any other electronic devices and the triggering voltage is so low at under 6V that it is safe to all modern cameras.
