Q: Do I need to change hard drive jumper settings?
A: Just use the default setting: master. If the jumper is not set to master yet, set it to master
Q: Does it work with all drives? including Western Digital drive?
A: Yes it does will all 3.5" desktop drives, including Western Digital, Maxtor, Seagate, Samsung, IBM and more
Q: Does that enclosure also work with regular USB port?
A: Yes, it is fully compatible with regular USB ports also. But to enjoy the high speed, you need USB 2.0 port.
Q: Is there a fan inside??
A: No, there is no fan. It is 100% aluminum casing so a fan is not necessary!
Q: Do I need install any driver to use this reader?
A: No driver is needed except for Windows 98
Q: Does this work with Mac?
A: Yes, it works with Mac OS 8.6 or newer
Q: What kind of hard drive can I put in?
A: You can use any 3.5" desktop hard drive
