This is a wonderful -1933 General Electric K-63 Cathedral Tube Radio from 1933. The small 16” x 13” x 8” cabinet looks very nice and the radio will fit about anywhere. Little Joe redid the cabinet, including a new oak veneer skin over the top. It is not perfect, but very nice. My long time repairman, Tom Romano of Tom’s Antique Radio and Television repaired this set prior to when he passed away in April. It sounds nice and picks up plenty of stations on just a short wire. I really like the looks of this small set, and it was one of the first sets to have a tone control!! This is sold no reserve, so the high bidder will be the new owner- no silly reserve games. 3) THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BID: All shipping costs are incurred by buyer. Insurance is required. We take extra care in packaging, (Bubble wrap, foam pellets, proper boxes, etc.)(NOT the wadded up newspaper trick) There is a cost for doing this right. Our goal is to get it to you in good shape, and for you to not have to file those fruitless shipping claims. Let's face it, once it's broke, it's broke. We have lost a significant amount of money in packaging over the past few years, and will continue to do so to get it to you in one piece. 4) FOREIGN BIDDERS: Foreign bidders are welcome on items bidding over $50. Payment is expected through Paypal only and due in 5 days or less.
