Smarthome KeypadLinc Dimmer X10/Insteon 2486DWH6

Smarthome's KeypadLinc V2 Dimmer & Controller replaces your existing wall switch.  It has a built-in 600W dimmer for incandescent, low voltage lights and inductive loads, and comes with a 6 button faceplate installed (user can change to 8 button faceplate or change colours, extra plates not included).  It features both Insteon and X10 remote control ability. 

Insteon Benefits - Insteon transmits its signal faster than X10 and is a redundant protocol, in that every receiver confirms when it receives and processes a command from the transmitter. And since each receiver is also a repeater, the more switches you have in the house, the more reliable the system becomes.

The KeypadLinc V2 is ETL and CSA listed for safety, and comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.

Installation Note:  Neutral wires are required at the KeypadLinc locations.  Insteon networks require a SignaLinc coupler to create reliable communications.
