DESCRIPTION 

Manufactured to meet our customers' need for premium sound, high-quality construction, and ultimate value, the Smarthome Select 6" in-ceiling speaker represents everything that a great speaker should be. Constructed with 1" liquid-cooled silk dome tweeters, kapton voice coils and copolymer cones, this speaker creates a dramatically rich sound stage with crisp vocals, smooth mid-range, and deep resounding bass that is beyond compare.

No matter where you put this speaker or what the shape of the room is, the built-in directional tweeter can be adjusted to help compensate for 95 percent of the sound-damaging aspects of a room. Simply adjust the directional tweeter toward the 'sweet spot' or prime listening area of the room and the speaker will do the rest. Now the speech, vocals, and high frequency sounds emanating from the speaker will reach the audience as they were originally intended to and not be projected into the floor. This single speaker is great if you just need to add one more speaker to your surround sound system or for an extra zone on your whole house audio system. This speaker is also available as a pair or as a five speaker surround sound package.

Full 1" Liquid Cooled Silk Dome Tweeter
Most speakers of this size use 1/2" or 3/4" tweeters that can deliver less-than-optimal response in the high-frequency range (12,000 Hz - 20,000Hz). The pivoting silk dome tweeter built into the Smarthome Select 6" In-ceiling Speaker is not only very efficient, but it is liquid cooled to ensure proper sound reproduction at high volume levels for extended periods of time, allowing you to enjoy your music at any volume level you wish for as long as you please.

Speakers should be heard and not seen. This elegantly designed speaker blends into your decor with a flush-mount design and low-profile grill. For an even more custom look, the removable grill can be painted to match the texture and color of your ceilings, and the included paint shield can be used to customize the speaker bezel without removing the speaker from the installed position.
