Rare Sonora Clock Radio DWU-486

Here is a rare clock radio that is made of either catalin or bakelite.
It is a reddish maroon color with black swirls.
The front of the case is stippled like ostrich skin.
No cracks.
Telechron clock works but radio doesn't.
