Here is a hard to find Sony VPH G70 with wireless remote control,and the original manual. If you're looking at this ad, you know that this projector is the pinnacle of 8" CRT technology. 8" tubes, 1200 lumens, 135Khz scan rate, which technically could project a 2160p image. With what's available on the market today, this will display a stellar 1080p image, with about 25,000:1 contrast ratio for true blacks. With an estimated 8000 hours left on this set's tubes, you're good for well over 10 years of watching a movie a night without expensive bulb or tube replacement. Other G70s on occasion will list here on eBay with no tube face pictures, which really determine the value of the projector in the first place, I'm very up front about tube and set condition. The set works flawlessly, all functions work as expected. This set, like most others came out of a high end installation where the customer 'upgraded' to digital. CRT still blows away any digital technology out there when it comes to a film like image, no motion artifacting and lifelike colors, none of this technicolor digital color in a CRT image! Setup is straightforward with this set, the manual is exceptionally well written. Top of the line HD18 lenses are installed in this unit. 110 and 220 volt operation, PAL, SECAM and NTSC compatible, and 4:3, 16:9 and 2:35 image setup possible with this unit. With an included input card, an HDMI or DVI signal can plug directly into this projector, email me for more details. The case of this projector is in excellent shape, minimal marks and scratches. The red tube is in excellent condition, there's a bit of wear on the G and B as shown, normal with any CRT projector on the green tube. Properly set up, you won't see this wear, and will still get an excellent image out of the set for years to come. The case has been painted black, but I also have a stock gray one here if you prefer that. I have a solid wood crate to send this projector in, for safe shipping. I can assist with the setup of this set via email or phone, and have sold and serviced over 4000 CRT projectors since 1985. I know these machines inside and out, and will do a presetting of the set for your screen size before I ship. I ship via truck or air, and will CAREFULLY pack the set, so you don't end up with three or more little G70s on arrival. I do not use couriers to ship these sets, UPS and FedEx will break them.
