LCD needs repair - also needs hard drive

This laptop needs some help.  The LCD is extremely dim.  You can barely make out what is on the screen.  The laptop itself runs pretty good.  I will list some things I found below:

1. LCD very dim.  Needs fixing.
2. LCD Latches missing.
3. No hard drive.  All screws and tray included.
4. Battery is COMPLETELY untested.  No guarantees on it whatsoever.
5. DVD drive does not pass full diagnostics.

This laptop would be great for someone who can fix it up.  It is in good cosmetic condition except for the lcd latches missing.  Here are the specs and what's included:

Tracking numbers are sent out when the item is shipped.  You will get an email from EBay to the PayPal provided address.  Please check spam filters before contacting us about where your tracking number is.

Return Policy:  All items are returnable if they are not as described.  Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or we will consider the sale final.  Please contact us thru EBay’s messaging system to arrange a return.  We will cover return expenses if the item is indeed not as described.
