We ship to the USA only. Not because we don't like our neighbors but because it costs too much to do business with them. If the item has a starting price over $100. go ahead and bid from Canada or Mexico. We now accept Visa & Mastercard on our commercial auctions. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. We prefer to ship via UPS as we have daily pickup which offers a lower rate then counter service rates. That means we are shipping at the lowest rates UPS offers. If we ship to a stand alone business the UPS rate is usually $2.50 less. If your business has a separate driveway entrance from any residence; state that and request the B to B rate. USPS will no longer pick up parcels over 1#, at our office, so we are dropping or seriously reducing use of Priority Mail. We do ship small items and books via PP to save you money but you can expect a long wait for them to arrive as we can't go to the PO everyday and often don't go for a week or two. Our local Post Office requires a 15 minute trip each way and at least a 30 minute wait in line.
Insurance!!! UPS insures parcels to $100. automatically and charges $1.95/$250. after that. The USPS does not automatically insure and we ship f.o.b. CM,CA. That means we will place the item on the carrier and after that we are not responsible for its delivery. If you don't ask for insurance then you are self insuring. Since we only only have a problem about once every 3-400 shipments I think self insuring is pretty economical. If you want insurance we must ship via UPS.
We try to ship same day as payment arrives. CA residents must pay sales tax on our commercial auctions. If your item is in the 150 pound or higher range we are currently using Yellow Transportation, a nationwide LTL carrier, or Premier Transportation a specialized machinery mover. If you wish to get a freight quote you must call us at (949) 645-7601. Most machines move at freight class 85 and they are moving from MarMachine at Zip 92627. We do not charge for packaging unless it is quoted in the auction description.
