This is a very nice South Bend 13" lathe with a 6 foot bed manf. in 1982. It is powered by a 2 hp, 220 volt, 3-phase motor. According to the company records it was delivered to Sheridan Catheter Corp. in Argyle NY on May 17, 1982. It was used very little and then sold for surplus. Included in this sale is a very nice steady rest and taper attachment (not pictured/not installed), one 4-jaw chuck, one 3-jaw chuck and collet stand/holder as seen in the picture. This machine is currently in my garage and I do not have the capability to load. It is also for pick up only as the expense to ship would be excessive. It ran very well prior to storage in my garage, but it is currently not under power. If you use "buy it now", I will throw in a new quick change tool post. Payment within 5 days of close of auction and pick up after clearance of funds.
