South Bend Doublebuilt bamboo fly rod

9 1/2 foot South Bend Doublebuilt, model 31. All sections same length. Rod fits together nice and is fairly straight, feels nice and tight, no ferrules loose. The grip, reelseat, and ferrules are in excellent condition. The decal is 100%, the inscription reads: " Super South Bend " and then " 31 - 9 1/2' " The tips look like they've been revarnished more recently, and the butt and mid still have the original darkened varnish. The tip ferrules fit perfectly into the mid and when you look at the spots on the butt and mid (see picture) that have been touched up they are the same color as the tips, so I'm sure these are the original tips. Rod is missing three guides. The rest of the wraps are in great condition.
