Offered is a excellent condition SB 1307.This lathe is extremely rare. It was made in the 60's and 70's.Mostly made for the government and large manufacturers.It was out of the reach of the little guy probably due to its cost.It is referred to as a clone to the Monarch 10 EE lathe.It has a 13in swing and 20 in between centers.It is massively built weighing in around 3000 plus pounds.The ways are like new and it comes nicely tooled.Copy of the original manual and parts list is also included.It is 3 phase 220 volt and has a 5hp DC motor and variable speed drive. Not shown is a 10 gallon Little Giant coolant tank and pump.The lathe is in my garage on 5 heavy duty casters a.This is pickup only by buyer.I can get the lathe to a loading facility nearby which will have a fork lift to assist in loading.I will have the lathe moved by a local tilt bed car carrier and there will be a $75 charge for this service.If buyer can supply a tilt bed then it can be loaded at my home.There is also assorted cutting tools not shown that are included.It is equipped with a 5C lever collet closer made by Royal Products and includes 52- 5C collets which are mostly Hardinge.All the controls on the apron work smoothly as do all the controls for the feeds and headstock.Every thing on the lathe works very smoothly and the only thing I do not have is the follow rest.It has full taper attachment.It has a DRO for the X axis.All in all one nice piece of machinery.Being sold as I have no way to get it in to my basement due to its weight.It comes as shown and I believe the pics tell the story.There is a similar lathe offered by Harris Machinery for I believe close to $10,000.If you want an accurate lathe then this is the lathe to grab.There is additional info on the Practical Machinist site under South Bend lathes 1307.Also you can contact LeBlond Ltd. lathe company for more info.Contact me with any questions.I will also call you if you give a #.Sold as is used.Final arrangements to be made at the close of the sale.
