The Space Shuttle Discovery and the STS-124 crew launched from the Kennedy Space Center on May 31, 2008. The 26^th mission to the International Space Station carried the Japanese Kibo laboratory and included three spacewalks.

This mission was commanded by Mark Kelly, piloted by Ken Ham along with Karen Nyberg, Ron Garan, Mike Fossum, Akihiko Hoshide, Greg Chamitoff and returned Garrett Reisman.

This 2-hour DVD covers the countdown highlights starting 5-hours before liftoff and ending with the successful launch into space.
