You are bidding on 1 spalted, curly, Hard Maple (Acer Saccharum), blank 121401. Specifics include:

• Dimensions are: 15-1/2"x6"x3-3/4"
• Check out spalt lines, color contrast, and curl in pics...this will make for a beautiful carving, sculpture, or clock. The curl does not get any better than this...look at the curl on the natural side. The wood slopes sideways on this piece.
• Solid and dry. There are a few small hairline cracks on the surface. Note natural edges.
• Air dried and ready to turn. Solid with no soft spots....this is hard maple!
• Ships in the USA for the calculated rate shown.

Payment must be made within 10 days of the auction. EBay policy as of October 2008 is that only PayPal can be used for payments. If you have never used PayPal, they will walk you through paying with one of these methods or setting up an account.  Payments not received within 10 days will result in a cancelled sale and the item will be relisted. Please contact us if you need a longer period of time. Indiana residents will be charged the current sales tax rate (7% as of 4/1/2008).

Our philosophy of shipping is that it exists solely for the seller to send an item safely, quickly, and as inexpensively as possible. We ship every business day. We do not charge handling fees in most circumstances and we do not create inflated shipping charges for our profit. We will work to find you the best shipping option depending on your needs. We are also willing to combine shipping on multiple items. Please indicate you would like combined shipping options if you are bidding on more than one item. If you are purchasing buy it now items, buy them but do not pay for them. We will send you a combined invoice with your shipping costs.

International buyers are responsible for all broker and duty fees. In many cases, insurance is not available or is very expensive on international shipments. Tracking items is difficult and shipping times are generally much longer. If an international shipment is lost, the buyer assumes responsibility. We will try to help you locate it but will not assume any responsibility for replacing it or providing a refund.
