Up for auction is a vintage and very hard to find Springfield tractor. It has a metal tag that reads : MFG BY QUICK MFG INC THE HOUSE OF POWER SPRINGFIELD OH MODEL 61T SERIAL NO 1724.
All four tires are Goodyear made in USA The rear are super sure grip tractor 6-12 2ply rating the front are super rib 4.80/4.00-8 2ply rating. All four tires are in pretty good condition.
It has three forward speeds and one reverse. The deck is about 36 inches wide. From the back of the rear tire to the front of the front tire is about 63 inches long. That makes it about the same size as some of the older John Deere tractors.
One of the most interesting things about this little tractor is that it has small clam shell type fenders like some of the big Farmall and Ford tractors have. The part of the fenders that bolts them to the axle will need to be welded or brazed. One is just sitting on the axle for the photos and the other is just about to break off. The hood also has some cracks.
I am not a small engine mechanic, but I think the engine has internal damage. The brakes are good. The deck and transmission seem to be good.
If you would like to come out and look her over before the auction ends you are more than welcome to.
If you are the winner you could pick this up in Chardon Ohio 44024,or I could deliver it to you for $1.00 per loaded mile.
Bid with confidence, check our feedback. Good luck and happy bidding.
