OLD Japan Santa Claus holding Christmas Tree



 

Comical 4.5" tall Chenille/pipecleaner Santa Claus.  His red suit is formed by mesh and trimmed with pipecleaners.  He's holding a Visca Christmas tree in one hand and a small glass bead/ornament in the other.

His boots appear to be cardboard and trimmed in pipecleaner.  A felt stocking cap tops off his wardrobe with a gold glass ornament.  Cardboard base has a paper label made in Japan, circa late 1940's to early 1950's.

Overall height is 4.5".
