Where our products come from:
All of our products come from various auctions, straight from the factory, or companies that liquidate their assets or have excess inventory to clear out. We get many different and diverse items every day.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Mike's Merchandise will only accept the following payment methods:
- Money Order
- Certified Cashier's Check
- Our Preferred method, PayPal >>>international buyers, please see note below<<<
Mike's Merchandise accepts PayPal from countries outside the US, Canada, and the UK, but you are required to use GLOBAL EXPRESS shipping. NO EXCEPTIONS!! All international buyers preferring a different shipping method must pay with money order or cashier's check. If you choose to use PAYPAL, you are also accepting GLOBAL EXPRESS MAIL as your shipping method.
Sold As Is
While we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, we do not have time or knowledge to test every product that we sale on ebay. All "NEW" items are being sold directly from the factory or unused. We will test used products if we feel it is necessary and within our capabilities. Please see our return policy should any problems arise.
Bidding / Auctions:
Since ebay is a fantastic place for buyers and sellers, we need to strive to keep it that way. Your bid is a contract to purchase an item. Because ebay uses an auction format, the buyer is NOT placing an order. You are buying the exact item as listed in the auction. Just as the buyer expects Mike's Merchandise to ship the exact item as described, we fully expect the buyer to follow through with the winning bid. Everyone will be treated the same, so if a bid is placed from your account, we fully expect you to follow through with the purchase.
Warranty:
Mike's Merchandise does not offer any warranty, expressed or implied, on the products sold. It is the buyer's responsibility to contact the manufacturer of the product to see if a warranty is valid.
Terms of Condition:
We use several terms to describe the condition of our products.
"New" - The product has never been used or owned. The retail packaging may or may not be included, see item description and picture for details.
"Brand New Factory Sealed" - The product has never been used and has the factory sealed package or wrap included.
"New In Box" - The product seems to have never been used, but the factory seal is broken or has been opended. It has the original box included from manufacturing.
"Like New" - This is for products that seem to have been used before, however there are no visible wear or tear on them. For example a CD that has been used but there are no visible scratches on it, this would be "Like New" condition.
"Great Condition" - For products that seem to have some minor wear and tear. A few light visible scratches but would still perform the same as if they were new. For example, a CD with a few light scratches on the bottom that still plays music as if it had no scratches on it (no problems in performance).
"Good Condition" - Products that will still perform as if it were new but has some visible signs of possible wear and tear or scratches. For example, a CD with lots of visible scratches but still operates as expected.
*On occasion, we receive a "New" item that may have received some slight damage during shipment. We will disclose all information as possible, but the item will still be listed as new due to the fact it has never been owned and/or used.
Any products we feel will not perform as expected will not be sold on ebay

Reserve Prices:
We feel all auctions should be fair to evey member on ebay. Therefore, we will not respond to questions about "What is the Reserve Price". Most of our reserves will be set substantially below retail price.
Buy It Now:
If an auction does not offer an "Buy It Now" option, Please do not send us an email to put a "Buy It Now" option on it. If the item does not meet the reserve, it will be put in our ebay store with a "Buy It Now" option. Some ebay store items may have a "Best Offer" option as well.

ALL PRODUCTS MUST BE SOLD THROUGH EBAY TO COMPLY WITH EBAY POLICY...if it's not available on ebay from us, then it's not for sale.
Shipping Cost:
Please use the shipping calculator to determine shipping cost. Shipping quotes are based on the actual rates currently charged by USPS and UPS. We charge a small handling fee to cover the cost of materials and labor used to securely ship an item. Your item will be well protected. International shipping and handling fees are usually higher due to the time it takes to ship an international package at the post office. All of our shipping charges a set low to be fair to every buyer.
Shipping Services:
Your product will ship within 24 hours of Mike's Merchandise receiving your payment. Please determine the cost prior to bidding on an item as all shipping costs are FINAL. Please refer to the chart below to determine the speed of your order.
- Priority Mail - The fastest form of shipment, usually 2-3 days within U.S.
- UPS Ground - Available for specific, oversized items only ,usually 3-5 days.
- Other USPS domestic services are available, however they will require the purchase of insurance. This is due to some media mail and parcel post packages being lost.
- Free Local Pickup - Any of our items won on ebay may be picked up from our Guntersville store. All you need is your ebay account name, purchase invoice and valid ID which matches the ebay account.
- International Shipping - We offer Airmail, Economy, and Global Express for all international buyers.
If you prefer to have tracking on an international package, you MUST select Global Express Mail.
Please be sure to include the shipping cost in your payment. Failure to include the correct shipping cost can delay shipment and/or cause a UPI to be issued.
We will NOT declare international packages as a "gift". We will not ship an item internationally if that item is restricted for sale within the U.S. International buyer's should be aware that customs fees may be included for the delivery/import of your item. Mike's Merchandise is not responsible for your government's customs duties.
Tracking Information:
All domestic shipments will include a tracking number that will be sent to your email address. International shipments that require tracking must use Global Express Mail. Make sure your email address is up to date on ebay so you may recieve the tracking information.
Lost Shipments / Shipping Insurance:
It is the buyer's responsibility to purchase insurance when selecting a shipping method. Please contact us prior to paying for an item if you want your package insured and we will provide the quote. We will not be responsible for lost mail when a buyer does not purchase shipping insurance, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. However, we will do our best to help locate your package should it be lost. Should you choose to decline shipping insurance, you are accepting full responsibility for all damages and/or losses incurred during shipment. We cannot be held responsible for the package once it leaves our offices. No shipping insurance is available for international shipments.
Combined Shipping / Multiple Items Won:
We will combine shipping for multiple items won within one week unless otherwise specified by the buyer. Multiple items won can be packaged together at the buyer's request and save as much as $2.00 per item.

Leaving Feedback:
Where is my feedback from Mike's Merchandise? We fully believe in using ebay feedback when considering buyers. We hope you will examine our feedback as well. Appropriate feedback will be left for every transaction. Therefore, WE WILL BE GLAD TO LEAVE FEEDBACK ONCE THE ENTIRE TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE. This is to protect us from feedback extortion and receiving unreasonable negative feedback. If you have a problem, please contact us and give us a chance to correct it before leaving feedback.
Negative Feedback:
This will be given to buyers who do not pay or leave us a negative/neutral feedback for issues beyond our control. We will also leave negative feedback for any verbal assaults or harassments via email or any other form of communication, and thus will be reported to ebay.
Unpaid Items:
Any item that remains unpaid for 7 days will receive a payment reminder from our automated system. If no contact is made from the buyer within 10 days of the auctions close, a UPI will be issued.

Automated Emails:
We have an automated system which sends various messages including winning bid notifications, invoices, shipment notifications, payment reminders, etc. These emails should include all information for the buyer to complete the transaction.

We want all of our customers to be completely satisfied with each purchase. We accept returns as long as they meet the following criteria:
- The claim is made within 3 days of item's delivery.
- The item does not operate/perform in the manner it was described in the auction.
- Or...the item does not match the item listed in the auction.
- Any mistake made by Mike's Merchandise results in a 100% refund plus return shipping cost.
- The item must be returned in the condition it was received with all original contents and packaging.
- Software, video games, and DVD's may only be exchanged for the same title.
- For buyer's remorse, the item may be returned and is subject to a 20% restocking fee. Additionally, the buyer is to pay all return shipping costs if no mistake was made by Mike's Merchandise.
- If an item is returned and we do not receive it, then we cannot issue a refund. Please include tracking and signature confirmation on returned packages.
Refunds or Returns are not accepted for the following reasons:
- Uninsured packages lost during shipment.
- Buyer accidentally bought the wrong item.
- The buyer claims the item was won y another party using their account.
- Any other reason that is beyond the control of Mike's Merchandise.

- Be An Informed Buyer! Read descriptions carefully. If you have questions on any auction - Ask Before You Bid.
- Sellers love to use pictures, but you also need to read the text. A pretty picture does NOT tell all. If the ad is vague about what is being sold, there is generally a reason. Mike's Merchandise uses pictures in all our listings, however, we also try to describe each item as accurately as possible, so use the picture and the description.
- If you want a Sealed product, make sure the listing states the product being sold is Sealed. If it doesn't, the product may NOT and probably is NOT sealed. Ads that are vague are generally vague for a reason, such as New isn't always Sealed - When Mike's Merchandise says a product is Sealed, it is either Sealed in a jewel case or Sealed in a retail box and the description will tell you whether the item is a Sealed Jewel or Sealed Box. If it is new without the box or case, it will be disclosed in the description as well.
- Read the fine print of the description to determine whether the product is new or used. Some sellers will be a little vague on that issue also.
- What method of shipping will your order be sent and what are you paying for that type of service? Most sellers will list a shipping price (although not all), but the question becomes, how fast will I get my order versus the price paid for shipping? Media mail is slowest - 1st Class is pretty fast - Priority Mail is very fast. If a seller lists a price, but doesn't tell you how he will ship your order, again, there is probably a reason You should ask before you bid if there is any question.
- If you want to buy several items and have them shipped together, be sure the seller you are considering offers a shipping discount on multiple items. Not all sellers discount multiple items shipped together. At Mike's Merchandise, we offer a discount on any multiple items when the buyer finishes all bids and sends one payment for everything.
- Keep the seller informed with payment status, updated addresses, preferred shipping address, etc. Simply keeping the seller informed is a good practice as they will be more cooperative.
- Give sellers a chance to correct any problems you may have with their product or service. You'll find many professional sellers will be very cooperative.
