Back before electronic distance measurements, surveyors used transits and stadia rods. By measuring the difference numbers viewed between the upper and lower crosshairs, the distance to the next waypoint could be measured. This Cox's Stadia Computer is a circular slide rule that converts the actual (slant) distance measured to the true horizontal distance. These are ABSOLUTELY MINT sealed in their original military packages. NSN 6675-00-664-4676. Original design Catalog #3100 by W & L.E. Gurley, Troy New York. Reasonably heavy white plastic. Besides being useful for actual surveying, these make a dandy rare and unusual circular slide rule collectible. The circular slide rule is six inches square.
It is in a protective poly wrap which in turn is packaged in heat sealed
paper.
The back has a NSN number and a title on it. We accept PayPal.
