Stangl Oval Platter 14 3/4" White Dogwood #5167

     Up for your consideration is a Stangl oval platter from White Dogwood numbered 5167. This pattern was developed by Martin Stangl and Kay Hackett. Introduced in 1965 White Dogwood remained active up to the closing of Stangl Pottery in 1978. White Dogwood with "raised decorations, were advertised as Prestige Dinnerware".  This pattern used the same molds as Dogwood #3668 which was introduced in 1942. The platter measures 14 3/4 inches in length and weighs 2.7 pounds. There are no visible cracks, chips or repairs. The oval platter is clean without any signs of use or wear. The base is clearly marked with a Stangl underglaze stamp along with the patterns identity as "White Dogwood #5167".  * I charge a 1 dollar handling fee which helps to reduce the rising costs of packing materials.
