This is the "fine print".  Please DO read as this will insure a smooth, no hassle transaction for both of us:

This listing has a 20 business day processing time. Business days are Monday thru Friday and do not include weekends or holidays. Your item (or Items) should most likely ship before the 20 business days have passed.  If you need delivery by a specific date, PLEASE CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY and I will do what I can to accommodate your request.  If you do not contact me, I will accept you have agreed to the standard 20 business day processing and standard shipping time. Once shipped, you will receive an email from USPS.com (please make sure your email program will accept email from there and not block it or send it to your junk mail file. If you do not receive and email, please let me know. The USPS estimated shipping time for Priority Mail (inside the US) is 3-5 days.

International orders will be shipped within the 20 business days processing time as well, but with International shipping as erratic as it is, I can make no promises as to actual shipping time.  Please allow 7 business days actual shipping time after the 20 business days for processing when estimating the delivery date for your order shipped outside the US.

I list my shipping times and methods clearly in ALL of my auctions. If you have ANY issues with this or the product itself, please contract me first before leaving negative feedback so we can work things out. I want all of my customers to be happy (repeat) customers.  Please make sure your email program does not block email from startrekexcalibur.org) I answer ALL of my email within 72 hours of receiving it.  

For orders placed during the Christmas/Holiday season (November 1st thru December 19th):

Items purchased by December 10^th will be received no later than Dec 24^th, using standard Priority mail shipping.

Dec 11^th- Dec 19th will be shipped by Express Mail  only if needed by Dec 24  If this listing does not include an Express mail option, please “Request a Total” from me and ask for the Express mail shipping option, I will send a revised invoice that includes the expedited shipping option.

Orders placed for international delivery for Christmas will not be accepted after December 8^th They will be shipped no later that December 16^th.

NO costume orders placed after November 27^th will be delivered in time for Christmas. NO orders for any item for Christmas delivery will be accepted after December 19^th, after this date all orders will be subject to the 20 Business day processing time

It has come to my attention that there might be some confusion as to the details regarding what this pattern (or pattern set) is or is not.

This is not a pattern like you would purchase in a fabric store. These patterns were created for Lincoln Enterprise’s (now Roddenberry.com) as long ago as the early 1970’s.  New ones have been added over the years, some as recently as this year depending on the pattern. These patterns were all created by professional costumers, not pattern cutters; all these patterns were created using original costumes as the source material for accuracy and detail to the original costumes. It is not a “store available” pattern like Simplicity or McCall’s pattern and does not have the same kind of details as they would have, but it is far more accurate than anything produced as a “Halloween costume” pattern.   Store bought patterns are printed on very thin, tissue like paper.  This pattern is printed on a white heavy weight paper for durability. The original patterns Lincoln produced were on a very fragile newsprint paper and when these ran out, Lincoln had them reprinted on the heavier paper.  These patterns ARE professionally printed, but do resemble a large format “Xerox” copy. As a result, when a very old print was used to reprint a pattern, some of the lines might not be as dark as they should be. This is not a flaw, but is what the pattern is supposed to look like.

The included instructions, unless otherwise stated, are generally very basic and require you to possess or know someone that possesses at least intermediate knowledge in clothing/costume construction. I am also a professional costumer and will gladly offer advice or additional information, free of charge, via email if you need it.
