Starbucks Coffee Company was founded in 1971

The company derived it’s name from a combination of two sources. Starbuck was Captain Ahab's first mate in the book Moby-Dick, the second source is from a mining camp (Starbo or Storbo) located on Mount Rainier. Mt. Rainier adorns the skyline of Starbucks home town of Seattle.

Starbucks world headquarters is located in Seattle, Washington home of the original Starbucks. The Starbucks building in Seattle’s South District is the largest building in Seattle with a little over 2 million square feet.

Howard Schultz leads the dynamic team of Starbuck employees serving as Chairman, President and CEO.

Note: This mug was purchased with a large lot of Starbucks items. There is no tag, and I have no knowledge of whether or not this mug has been used. My guess is that it hasn't. It shows no signs of use, and is in excellent condition. Please feel free to ask any questions you might have concerning this Starbucks item or any other item. Thank you.
