High Glitz / National Pageant Dress

***THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WILL LIST THIS DRESS. If it does not sell this time, I am going to pull the stones off because most of them are flat back sew on Swarovski's, and use them on my genies. So if you are on the fence, I suggest you bid. After I get the stones off, I will sell the shell.*** First of all, please know that this dress is SMOKE FREE! It has been stored in a plastic tub in my daughters closet.  My daughter has decided she does not want to do pageants anymore so we are selling off her things. Here is her white and pink high glitz National level dress. These are not your cheap stones on this dress. This dress has ONLY Swarovski's on it and nothing else. I just recently replaced a good many of them as well as the white and pink lace that runs under them. I also replaced the bows just recently. I would have to estimate that I just put over $100 worth of additional stones and new lace on this dress. This dress is not new. I am the 2nd or 3rd owner of this dress. I am not sure who made it, but to give you an idea of the workmanship in this dress, it is just as nice as the Nancy Landers we used to have!! We have never worn it, so it has never been seen on stage by any of the judges in our area of the USA. In fact, this dress has not been on stage in over 6 years. The dress is clean but there is slight tanning stains on the inside, which is normal for these types of dresses. Nothing major and the judges don't see the inside anyway, right? LOL! The skirt does have a few small snags, but again, they are nothing major and would not be seen from the stage. They were of no concern to me and I was not going to change the dress before putting her on stage in it. In my honest opinion, this dress is totally stage ready as is. You will want to add a white hook and eye to the back just above the zipper to hide the zipper. I took it off when I was working on the bodice and never purchased a new white on to replace the old silver one. My daughter, shown here, is a small size 7. She just came out of a size 6X, so that will give you an idea of how this outfit is sized. It will fit a size 6 - 8slim easily. I would not push it past an 8 slim as the bodice can not be let out and I fear it would be too tight, thus showing a shadow or outline of the waistline of the skirt through the top. The skirt has elastic waist and can be lowered or raised as seen fit for the height of the girl wearing it. My daughter is 8 yrs old and is short for her age, and we have the skirt pulled up to above her belly button here. We had tried on an extra crinoline under the skirt one day and it gave it more a cupcake style look rather than the southern belle look that it has in these pictures. It is by far one of the prettier glitz dresses I have seen. You don't WANT to know what I paid for this dress! LOL! It does not have any odd odors and I didn't spray it w/ Febreeze either. LOL! I really just need to sell it and get some of the money out of it that I paid for it since she isn't interested in these pageants anymore. Please email me if you have any questions at all. To give you better idea of fit, my daughter who is shown in the pictures, is a 21 1/2" waist and it fits her perfectly. The skirt underneath takes up some of the waist measurement. She is a size 7. So, this will fit a size 7 and a size 8, I am sure! The skirt can be lowered. I have it pulled way up above her belly button.*************** Angie
