Believe!
This little fairy is just a little different than my painted glass face divas. I have a large collection of vintage photographs so I decided to put them to use! Instead of a fused glass painted face I used a copy of a vintage photograph under a clear domed cab set in a silver tone bezzel. There is a metal key charm that dangles from the necklace that I added a clear swarovski crystal to. The base is a gun metal fillagree that I added more crystals to. Then I added the keyhole with the word believe visible. The word is sealed. Then the fairy body and she's sprinkling some silver fairy dust (German Glass Glitter). There is a large bail behind her head that measures 4.7mm x 7.5mm so you can add your favorite chain. But I'm also including this 24" gun metal chain because I think it goes perfect with the pendant! I engraved my name and date on the back.




Pendant is approx. 3 1/2'' tall x 1 3/4'' wide. Pictures are highly magnified so that you can see the details. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email me!

About the Artist
I have been creating art for as long as I can remember in some form or another. One of the first pieces of jewelry that I remember creating are dandelion necklaces, bracelets and anklets! Clover flowers worked wonderful for this to! At some point I moved into sculpting and painting. Painting became my main focus for many many years and I was constantly looking for new material to paint on. I painted ceramic jewelry and dinnerware for a very long time, doing shows across the country. Finally I saw painted glass in a small shop and was happy that there would be less steps involved...the monotonous steps that I didn't like! So I moved into glass and discovered a wonderful group of glass artists here on ebay. From there my love of mixed media art combined with my love of jewelry finally led me to the type of jewelry that I create now. I call it steampunk, though it really is not quite under that term. It's more a mixed media, altered art type of artwork. My artwork has sold all over the world from Iceland, Scotland, Japan, India, Canada and throughout the United States. Thank you to all the collectors who have been with me for years...You all are the best and I have met some wonderful dear clients that I can call friends.
