Meet the Artist

We met Eugene Jacques and Carlos Brutus in Croix des Bouquets, an area of Port-Au-Prince, Haiti known for artisans who make oil drum art. The constant hammering from the sheds in the area led us to beautiful metalwork, with each stop offering new designs.Their shed was tucked behind several others and yielded unique three-dimensional masks with cogs and bicycle chains for earrings. This item will ship from our Florida warehouse within one business day, where possible we ship items the same day if paid for before 1pm EST. Your purchases are self insured by Gifts With Humanity. In the unlikely event that your goods do arrive damaged, we reserve the right to request that you return any damaged goods. You will get a full refund including outbound shipping on any damaged item. Our no questions asked return policy also allows you to get a refund on the goods only, for any item returned to our warehouse within 30 days of purchase.

This item is eligible for our shipping discount. Purchase a second eligible item from us and you will not be charged for shipping on the second, or third, or forth..... items. We ship ALL items by a trackable method, ususally Priority Mail. The minimum charge for a domestic Priority Mail is $4.60. We charge a FLAT $5 regardless of weight. We also provide FREE insurance. On average we lose money on shipping. International Orders are shipped at exact cost. We are often asked to ship by cheaper methods, however experience tells us that buyers want a reliable, fast delivery that both we and you can track.
