This is definitely the most beautiful book on meteorites written in the early 19th century. Published in large folio format it is a huge book of 97 pages with 8 lithographic plates including the famous print of the Elbogen meteorite prepared by Alois Widmanstatten! This one book is the pinnacle of collectible publications on meteorites featuring work from two namesake scientists. It is an antiquarian first edition published in Vienna in 1820 with reference to and immediately following E.F.F. Chladni's work of 1819; Uber Feuer-Meteore, und uber die mit denselben herabgefallenen Massen,  Wien  J.G. Heubner,  434 pp.
