This piano was originally built by Steinway in 1929 and was rebuilt with all Steinway parts in 1996.  Also in 1996 the piano case and bench were refinished completely to their original Ebony Satin finish.  This outstanding example of a Steinway Grand Piano (Model L) has been in the loving care of only two owners.  The piano resides with the current owner in central Florida.

A partial listing of the rebuild includes:  replace pinblock, complete restringing, replacement of damper felt, recondition damper action, repair and refinish soundboard, reguild plate, replace agraffes, replace key frame felt, rebush keys and regulate upaction.

This piano exhibits outstanding base tones and overall Steinway quality sound.  The expert who rebuilt this specific piano commented that he felt the base tones of this piano were exceptional even by Steinway standards.
