Stellardesign 4 Channel Digital Wireless Flash Trigger let you trigger your portable flash (does not support TTL), power pack or strobe remotely from a distance up to 30 meters (90 feet). One transmitter can control many receivers setting at the same channel. The receiver has built-in hot shoe. It uses one CR2 3V lithium battery (included). It is not compatible with H-prong receptacle in connection.

Sony/Minolta's proprietary flash hot shoe does not work directly with the transmitter which have ISO hot shoe, in which condition you a hot shot adapter.

The Receiver comes with one X-Sync cord and one 1/8" (3mm) to 1/4" (6mm) Phone Jack Plug Adapter.

User Guide
  1. Make sure the transmitter and the receiver are at the SAME control channel. On the transmitter, the blue DIP switch of channel setting is on bottom side; on the receiver, the channel setting switch is inside the battery compartment.
    • By channel setting, you can group the flash equipment into channel 1, 2, 3, or 4, and then switch the transmitter into channel 1, 2, 3, or 4 to control the different lighting group.

  2. Insert the X Sync Cord into the PC terminal of the receiver, insert the 1/4" (6mm) or 1/8" (3mm) phone jack plug into the jack of your flash equipment, or put your portable flash onto the receiver's hot shoe, then switch on the receiver.
  3. Press the TEST button of the transmitter to confirm operation of the flash equipment in the chosen configuration before taking photography.
  4. Connect the transmitter with your light meter by the X Sync Cord. Press the metering button of the light meter to meter light. Please make sure the shutter speed is not more than the max Sync speed of your camera. Adjust the light output of the flash equipment if needed, then meter light again. Disconnect the transmitter with the light meter.
  5. Mount the transmitter on the camera hot shoe. If your camera does not have a hot shoe but have a PC terminal, then connect the transmitter with the camera by the X Sync Cord.
  6. Set the camera into M mode, and then set the desired shutter speed and metered aperture value. Now you can trigger the flash equipment by press the shuttle release button of the camera to take pictures.
  7. After using, please always switch off the receiver to save the battery power.
