Product Description

This is a absolutely beautiful vintage Marcasites, Mother of Pearl Sterling Silver Pendant, a Sacred Mary or Miraculous Medal. This traditional three dimensional Medal oval Miraculous Medal in the center, mounted on a 16mm round, domed, button of genuine MOTHER of PEARL. Mary is in her classic pose, surrounded by the phrase, OH MARY CONCIEVED WITHOUT SIN PRAY FOR US WHO HAVE RECOURSE TO THEE. The oval Medal is riveted right through the Mother of Pearl, so they can't come apart! Holding the Mother of Pearl & the oval Medal is a 26 x 31mm ornate openwork Sterling Silver frame. (25mm = 1 inch). This frame has MARCASITES, all present, original, & perfect, securely hand-set into the Silver. This Medal is incredibly well detailed & made of solid Sterling Silver. The reverse has all the pretty symbols you'd see on a quality miraculous medal, & is stamped STERLING.
