    The wire is brand new & high quality.

      Sterling silver – Items are made of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Normally sterling silver items will be marked “925”, “.925”, “Sterling” or “Sterling Silver”. Because fine silver (99.9% pure silver) is too soft to use for jewelry, .925 (sterling silver) has become the standard in the jewelry industry.

      Wire has three different levels of hardness: dead-soft, half-hard, and full-hard.
      Dead-soft: wire is extremely soft and can be bent easily by hand.
      Half-hard: wire is harder than dead-soft wire but is still malleable.
                           It will maintain its shape under some stress.
      Full-hard: wire is harder than half-hard wire. It can hold its shape better than softer wire.
