About this nonprofit:
Bat World Sanctuary is an accredited rescue center and sanctuary operated exclusively for bats. We promote the protection of wild bats and the humane treatment of captive bats. Thousands of injured and orphaned bats arrive for medical treatment each year; up to 80% of these bats are rehabilitated and returned to the wild. Lifetime sanctuary is given to non-releasable bats, including those that are orphaned, injured, confiscated from the illegal pet trade and those retired from zoo/research facilities.

*These beautiful earrings are created from .925 sterling silver. Designers use the art of cloisonne to produce this stunning look.  What's special about these earrings, is that the designers use multi-color blending to create 3-dimensional contours. Each is also enameled on the reverse side, which adds strength to the pendant and prevents tarnishing.

*Each Bat measures at about 1 by 1/4 at its widest points. The photo has been enlarged to show you the detail; it does not represent the actual size.

*Your earrings will come packaged in a handmade box made of bamboo, which is harder than oak or maple. The company who makes this jewelry is very environmentally aware; the bamboo they use is grown without the use of fertilizers or pesticides.

*Finally, you will also receive small information sheets about the designer, Bats, and bamboo.
