Sterling Silver Tea Pot No. 1 Georg Jensen 1915-1930

Superb sterling silver tea pot, made in Denmark by Georg Jensen and fully marked for 1915-1930.

This is a lovely tea pot by Georg Jensen, pattern no.1 with all over gently spot-hanmered finish, the shaped wooden handle at 90 degrees to the spout of the tea pot.

The design of this piece is superb and indeed, this is a classic piece of silver from Georg Jensen.

The lid has a wooden finial matching the wood of the handle. Indeed, both are decorated with a single band of beading where the wood meets the silver.

The tea pot is 8 inches / 204 mm wide from the end of the handle to the opposite side of the pot and 6 inches / 152 mm wide from the spout to the opposite side of the pot. It stands about 5 inches / 127 mm high and weighs 290 grams.

The piece is in excellent condition with no dents, damage or repair.

The underide bears good clear marks for Georg Jensen -the marks used between 1915-1930 as well as GI 925S for Sterling silver, 'Sterling', 'Denmark' and 1B for the pattern number.

Overseas shipments are via Royal Mail International signed for service. If you require shipment via courier service (eg TNT/UPS etc), this can be arranged at additional cost by mutual agreement.

All items are well packed in brand new carton boxes and appropriate bubble wrap / tissue paper etc.
