Sterling and Turquoise Necklace

How to describe this piece?????? Exqusite , magnificent, exotic I could go on and on. This necklace is one that when I wear it I am stopped by everyone to admire it. The piece is set with 96 pieces of beautiful fine grade natural turquoise elongated pieces set in sterling bezel called petitpoint. This piece is made with careful and small stonework which  gives it an especially dainty appearance. The origin of this piece is Zuni and is stamped sterling and signed by the artist J M. Each piece of turquoise is tipped with a ever so tiny stud of sterling and s delicate rope of sterling surrounds one side of the turquoise pieces. As you can see in the photo the necklace is designed for the turquoise to lie perfectly around your neck and the drop pieces to lie across your chest in a perfectly flattering display. Their is one tiny teardrop dangling within the large turquoise embedded teardrop. The ir is an adjustable sterling link chain that makes this necklace easy to be worn long or at choker length.

The design is intricate as most Zuni pieces are. The turquoise pieces vary in colors which makes it even more spectacular.
