From DC Comics, some late Bronze Age apocalyptic goodness. Here's one of the few good things to come out of the hype around Superman 2. A pre-Crisis Superman is thrown into the Phantom Zone and is forced to explore all of it to find a way out, and finds much more there than one though. Meanwhile, the Phantom Zone criminals get loose, including Zod, of course, and all Earth's superheroes, including Supergirl, cannot stop them. Nor a nuclear war their appearance causes.

 An acclaimed and beloved miniseries from the great Gene Colan and the late and revered Steve Gerber, the same team that brought us the legendary 70s comic (not the crap 80s film) Howard the Duck.

This complete set (uncollected in any form) comprises all 4 issues of the miniseries, as seen below. I would grade them, conservatively, at VF, though most are closer to VF-NM. I am the original owner and have kept them carefully in bags, literally, since I was 12.
