Steve McQueen Wanted Dead Or Alive 1959 Gene Trindl Signed Photo
What an amazing image from the iconic actor early in his career. This was from the shoot that produced the only Steve McQueen TV Guide cover from May 30,1959. This alternate shot is cooler than the one chosen and shows our cowboy her smoking a cigarette in front of a WANTED poster. This is a high quality art print bought directly from the photographer and is signed by him on the mat Gene Trindl 1959 in pencil. The print measures 10.5 x 14.5 visible and 16.5 x 20.5 framed.
Gene Trindl (1924-June 29, 2004) was an American photographer and the most prolific creator of covers for TV Guide magazine. He created more than 200 covers and shot more than 800 assignments in total for the magazine. Trindl was based in Los Angeles.
