Garden City, New York © 1928 Marked First Edition Content: This contains 14 true stories about boys who went on to do great things: George matheson, Josiah Wedgwood, Edward Bok, John Kitto, Booker Taliaferro Washington, Andrew Carnegie, Henry Jones, Rodney Smith, Henry Fawcett, John Muir, Francis Parkman, Jean Henri Fabre, James Flanaghan, and Francis Chantrey. Condition - This is an old book. The pages and spine are intact. There are 2 little dogears, no rips, no tears, and little writing (see below). The corners and spine ends are bumped. The pages are yellowed. The book cover color is orange and the lettering on the spine is black. This book was a gift so it has a beautifully written gifting sentiment (see photo). There is also a childishly written 8 letters or numbers on the inside cover. The writing reads: "Presented to harold Farrington, Jr. for a year's perfect attendance at First Universalist Church School, Congress Square, Portland, Maine 1929" Dimensions: 133 pages, about 5.5" wide by 7 and 7/8" tall by 1/2" thick Questions?
