The Premium Green Strand Woven Bamboo flooring planks are so densely rated (3000 PSI Janka hardness), they are uniquely suited for the wear requirements of Commercial settings yet beautiful enough to adorn the finest homes. Touting the density of the hardest exotic species, Premium Green Nature Strand is Green building at its best.
With Strand woven, Bamboo Strips are thrashed, woven, bundled and pressed into a dense compact block. The block is then sliced into exceptional 6' long flooring planks. The long style planks are milled with an exact fitting 4 sided tongue and groove and then finished to create an exceptional floor with stunning visual appeal. A slight micro-bevel edge gives definition to each plank. This entire process gives Premium Green Nature Strand (R) its crisp appearance and rugged durability.
Premium Green Natural Strand can be cut, installed, and sanded like conventional hardwood flooring options. Due in part to its inherent dimensional stability, the Natural Strand can be glued directly down over concrete.
Premium Green Natural Strand exclusively uses European Dyno adhesives for the construction of the Strand Woven planks. Dyno is free of components classified as hazardous to the environment. There are no solvents, heavy metals, bactericides, or halogenated organic components
The Artist |Naomi Shersty
 Naomi Shersty of Central Florida creates distinctive photographs against a textured backdrop of southeastern scenery. Her work is inspired by her history and connection to the dense tropical landscape. Shersty uses photography to explore experiences of home, family, and place.
The Premium Green Bamboo: Natural Strand Woven flooring contains wood grain and textures found in our landscapes. Shersty appreciates the simplicity of the smooth finish and woven visual texture. Because of her love of nature, the conservation and environmentally friendly aspects of the Natural Strand Woven Bamboo flooring is especially important.
Shersty currently teaches art at the University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. She has recently exhibited her work at The Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend, WI.
Premium Green Strand Woven Exotic series
- No additives: there is a difference. Premium Green Strand woven is produced exclusively using European Dyno brand adhesives. The adhesives are free of components classified as hazardous to the environment. No solvents, heavy metals, or bactericides were used in the making of this floor. This Premium Strand Woven floor meets or exceeds European Union (more strict than U.S. regulations) Formaldehyde requirements.

- Durability. Strand Woven Bamboo offers a Hardness rating (3000 PSI) twice that of other bamboo species and flooring such as Oak and Maple. The moisture stability of the product allows for flexible installation methods such as direct glue down over concrete or traditional nail down on wood. Install the Strand Woven bamboo in virtually any room in your house. With both the Natural and Carbonized versions, the color on the surface is the same color all the way to the core. This means if dents or gouges do occur, they are less noticeable and easier to repair. Compare the concept to the radish, where the color of the surface is different from the core, and the carrot, where the color stays consistent all the way through.
- Finishing Touch. The level of sheen is satin glow. The 11 step finishing process, in which 8 coats of German manufactured Treffic Aluminum Oxide Finish are applied, achieves the finest finish available. Each layer is individually cured with Ultra Violet light. Beautiful finish depth combined with abrasion- and scratch-resistance and no-wax easy daily maintenance results. Q. Why does the Premum Green Strand Woven Exotic Bamboo Collection look different? I can't even tell it's bamboo!
A. With this collection the cane is harvested and Bamboo pieces are thrashed, woven, bundled, and pressed into a dense compact block. The visual this creates is that of an Exotic hardwood species.
Q. Is this harder than regular bamboo?
A. Nearly twice as hard. The official Janka hardness rating is 3000 pounds per square inch. This is as hard as many Brazilian Exotic species.
Q. Is it available in stained colors?
A. No, it is available in the Woven Natural and Woven Carbonized color. Just like most exotic floors no stains are applied to the surface. The color goes all the way though the piece. Gouges and dings are easier to hide and fix if they do occur. Relate this concept to a carrot, where it is orange all the way through and a radish which is red on the outside and white on the inside.
Q. Is it pre-finished? Do we have to apply anything to the surface once installed?
A. It is pre-finished. No additional applications are needed.
Q. What is the warranty and who warranties it?
A. The warranty is 25 years for the finish and lifetime for the structure itself. Premium Green, a U.S based manufacturer, backs the warranty.
Q. Does the strand woven version have floor and stair trim, or do we just use regular bamboo trim?
