This is a DIMENSIONS GOLD COLLECTION Needlepoint Kit titled PEONY TAPESTRY designed by Pamela Gladding.  This is one of those kits that looks nice in a picture but when you see the kit...wow! it is gorgeous!!  You will have to trust me on this as I haven't had time to start mine yet to show you one that is finished.  This is also one of the few needlepoint Gold Collection designs!  Our design is definitely modeled on a true tapestry piece...we see a white vase with a pattern of cherries decorating it, a small circle containing a landscape and a brass looking bottom.  The vase holds some fully opened pink peonies, their glossy green leaves, a sprig or two of small red flowers, peony buds and bunches of yellow flowers.  The background on this one is a shadowy pattern of brick red and brown.  Three golden pears lie around the vase.  Finally a bottom border in a leaf pattern highlights the majestic beauty of our floral display!  This one will be a true masterpiece when it is completed! 

 

    Contents of this kit includes 14 mesh canvas printed in full color, cotton thread, metallic threads, color coded thread sorter, needle and easy instructions.  The fabric size of our design is 22" x 18"/56 x 46 cm.  The finished size is 18" x 14"/46 x 36 cm.  The Gold Collection designs come in a nice heavy plastic jacket that can be used to hold your materials while you are stitching.  This one retails for $55. 

    

This kit would make a great gift for a flower loving friend or a stitching friend or a flower loving stitching friend!  It is factory sealed and is in excellent condition.  Or you could treat yourself to this beauty as a reward for all that all that Spring cleaning you have been doing...yes, you could!  I use reasons like this when I want to buy a new kit...I have lots of reasons.  If you need one, I give those away free!
