There was a time when Entertaining meant stocking the bar, bringing out your best Glasses & filling up the Ice Bucket. This Lovely Piece was surely the pride of someone's Bar, back in the day. Decorated with Gold, Swirling Vines. around the top section, this piece also features a Gold Rim, a Small, White Painted decoration of small white shields with 3 leaves inside and arrows between them. The wide Gold swirling design is beneath this, then one more identical white band is seen. The bottom portion is my favorite, with approx. half of the bucket painted in a white design of vertical lines, to which various size dots, or balls, were added. It reminds me of the old "stick & ball" Decorative "Gingerbread" Trim one would see on old homes, usually around the front porch. This is a beautiful piece with a classically decorated exterior that is as perfect a bar piece today, as it was in the Late 1940's or 1950's, when it was new!
This Vintage Ice Bucket measures 5" tall with a 5.75" diameter, at the top. It is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO problems!
