Mask is 1 5/8" tall and wide by 3/8" deep; Keyring and Keychain is 3 7/8" long

This matte silver keychain features a 3D sun and moon Venetian mask and easy open keyring. Stamped on the inside with "Ricordo di Venezia" (a memory of Venice).

The Mascareri of Venice formed their own guild in 1436, creating the masks worn by the celebrators of il Carnevale di Venezia, which ran from December 26th until Shrove Tuesday. Many patterned after the cast of the Commedia dell'Arte and often worn year round, masks were considered to be the safest hiding place, a place where noone would know who you were and anything could be done!
