Beautiful old quilt with thin cotton batting, white backing, white applied binding, hand hemmed; hand quilted at 6 to 7 neat stitches per inch. Quilted in 5/8 inch diagonal rows and in arcs in the white areas. Condition is very good, main flaw is that the binding has some fraying. Size approx. 79 x 94 inches. Fedex shipping with insurance. A: I will add more photos tomorrow. The quilt has general all-over fading. I got the quilt at the Alameda flea market and have no information on it. I would estimate that it dates from the first quarter of the 20th century.
