Superb c.1900 French Landscape Painting - Bouvier

This is a gorgeous oil on wood panel landscape painting from France dating from circa 1900. The painting is signed by the artist Bouvier and depicts a gorgeous sunset in the Isere region of France. Bouvier's works are very similar to those of Auguste Ravier, an exceptional artist who also portrayed beautiful sunsets in the areas around Grenoble and Lyon. Bouvier's paintings are offered by regional auction houses. The back of the painting is annotated with a description of the painting and is countersigned. This painting measures approximately 13.25" x 17.5" (33.5cm x 44.5cm) framed and 8.5" x 13" (22cm x 33cm) unframed. It will make a wonderful addition to the collector of fine European art.
