Superb vintage Frog & Lily pad Garden Sundial

A most delightful, and rarely seen sundial. A whimsical piece and a simply charming addition to a garden. Ready to mount upon a stone plinth or any mount of your choosing.

The dial is beautifully cast in solid brass- and the lily pad has a terrific organic undulating surface as shown. The roman numerals and frog are well cast- as is the stylized plant (bull rush flower) gnomon. If you seek to own just one garden sundial for your feature garden- I would recommend this highly unusual- perfectly charming piece.

Condition is perfect- with a beautiful aged patina to the metal- that only time can bestow. There are no makers marks to the item.
