These slippers originate in a tannery in northern Italy, where lambswool harvested from young Po River valley sheep is vegetable-tanned for superior softness, then shipped through the Alps to Germany where it is crafted into its final form. Unlike lesser slippers that use composite materials for their uppers, these slippers use one-piece uppers, a technique which leaves the natural fleece lining intact, resulting in unsurpassed warmth and strength. The durable lambskin outsoles withstand years of wear without stiffness.
