A very nice Supplex(r) fabric that can be used for jackets, parkas, capes, and town/campus jackets. Very wind-repellent and water/ stain-repellent.
Nautical navy blue or twilight blue is a hard color to explain, but it is the color of sky just before darkness.

WPB stands for waterproof and breathable. The backside of these fabrics will have a milky white coating or laminate that allows it to breath and also be waterproof. These fabrics are commonly used as SHELL JACKETS and SHELL PANTS for winter sports to be worn over insulated garments for cold and moist environments (the same fabrics are used for horse, dog, and yes even goat blankets and jackets).
DWR stands for DURABLE WATER REPELLANT. This is a silicone finish applied to the face of the fabric. It's function is to allow the fabric to shed moisture. It is NOT a waterproof finish and it is NOT visible. These fabrics are used for all sorts of sportswear jackets and pants.
The fabrics referred to as 1000 Denier, 600 x 600 Denier, 300 x 300 Denier, 420 and 400 Denier, 210 Denier and 200 Denier, and heavier fabrics used for backpacks, luggage, gear bags, stuffsacks and utility covers, in other words anything that is going to be abused.
Taffeta, is a generic term for fabrics that are very smooth in texture, our taffetas are most commonly used as jacket linings and windshirts.
Mesh fabrics have a multitude of uses, athletic apparel ( soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, running, etc.) they are used for linings in the Waterproof/Breathable (WPB) apparel, they can even be used as pockets on gear bags, and as stuff and storage bags).
Pure Finish means the fabric does not have DWR or WPB treatments. These fabrics were made to dry very quickly, they are often used for beach shorts, river shorts and beach tops for sunprotection. They make great warm up jackets and pants.
Wickaway fabrics are treated to pull sweat from the body and quickly evaporate through the fabric. They are frequently light colors that repel the heat of the sun. Great for summer outdoor sun protective apparel, beach apparel and shirts for fisherman and kids playing in the yard, the park, and at the beach.
